When the conditions are right, some species are an almost certain catch. Blackfin seabass for example are one of those species. Although this season was one of the worst seasons yet, through my experiences in the years, I am quite confident in getting my hands on a few fish. This however does not apply to all species. Specifically, the blue-runners. Even if you think the conditions are right, where there are plenty of baitfish hugging the shoreline, think again. My trial and error is an endless process to pursure for this kind of fishing.
Once I’m on though, it is a trophy worthy of my efforts. The early mornings have paid off, thanks to the Aomasa 188.
With so much demand from our users and new regulations overseas where single hooks are mandatory in some areas, we are currently working on a heavier single hook version. I’m not going to go into the pro’s and con’s with regards to the useage of single hooks right now, but stay tuned for future developments. Oh, and also the sinking version of the 148 size.?
